Shopping Our Stash #343

Hello everyone, this challenge is about using stencils from our stash.  I used two, the FolkArt Gerber Daisy stencil by Plaid and a gecko stencil which was one of the animal icons in a package of 48 FolkArt stencils also by Plaid. Links for these products can be found at the end of the blog if you are interested.
I taped both stencils down with low tack tape onto white cardstock then blended Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks over them.

The daisy image was cut down to A2 size and glued to a white cardstock base.  The gecko was fussy cut, secured to the card with foam tape, and finished with Glossy Accents.

The "thanks" sentiment was cut with a die by Casual Fridays Stamps with the darkest blue cardstock from the Recollections Blue Ombre cardstock paper pack.
If you want to join this group, or just enjoy the wonderful work everyone posts, here is the link

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card and will return to Faire Chase Lane soon.

  1. Lovely stenciled flower, and I love how you sponged the lizard with the same colors.
Thank you for sharing with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH, hope you come and play again next time.

  2. wow this is fantastic, as a newbie to stencils I'm loving seeing what everyone does with them. Thanks for playing along with the Stencil challenge at Shopping Our Stash.

  3. Welcome back to Shopping Our Stash this week, Lori! Ooh... such a nice and cheerful thank you-- the way you popped up the gecko, while a simple technique, totally elevated it (no pun intended!) Glad you used your stencils with us!
