Color Throwdown # 484 Green, Eggplant, and White

Hello everyone. This week our color challenge is eggplant, green, and white. I added gold and tried out a stamp set I have had stashed for a while.
For this challenge I used the Craft Smith "Blue Blooms" paper pad which has several eggplant colored papers. And I'm using the giraffe and the "What's Up" sentiment from the AlteNew Geometric Managerie stamp set.

I still needed green.  So where do giraffes live?  They live on the savannas of Africa which are green during the rainy season but parched the rest of the year. To represent the plains I used a die from the Tim Holtz Alterations Wild Flower die set by Sizzix and painted a piece of cardstock with a crackle effect using gold and green paints with the Martha Stewart's Weather Crackle Effect craft paint.
To give the card dimension, the eggplant piece and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. The decorated panel was glued to a green cardstock base.

This card seemed a little masculine to me so I am posting it to the Cards 4 Guys, Challenge #190, Things With Tails, blog this week. This is the first time I have posted to this group. I hope they like it. If you are interested in checking out this fun group go to
