Old Card, New Card

Hello everyone. I like to recycle/reuse things, so today we are using an old card to make a new card.

If you are like me you save all the cards friends and family give you, but what should we do with them?

To make an new card from and old card, I used part of a store bought holiday card I was given and the beautiful stamp set from AlteNew Modern Deer. The stamps are currently on sale if you want to check them out.
I cut the tree section off the original card and trimmed it down to fit my A2 size card base.  I sponged a piece of white card stock with Wild Honey and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks.

I stamped the deer, glued them among the trees and affixed everything to the sponged card stock. The decorated panel was then glued to a kraft card base and a sentiment from the stamp set was the finishing touch.

I hope you liked this card idea. I also make jewelry with old greeting cards so check that out on my blog if you are interested.

ALTENEW  has a sale going on right now.
